Today the Kingwood Tea Party endorsed Wayne Christian for Texas Railroad Commissioner. Below is their press release:
"Wayne Christian has been one of the Texas conservative movement’s strongest champions in the State Capital during his 14 years in the Texas House of Representatives. During the 82nd Legislature, Wayne Christian was awarded "Legislator of the Year" by Texas Conservative Digest, was worthy of an A+ rating from Texans For Fiscal Responsibility and scored a 100 percent conservative rating from the Texas Eagle Forum.
During his tenure in the legislature Christian was heavily involved in energy and oil and gas issues, serving multiple terms on the House Energy Resources Committee and as Vice Chairman of the Regulated Industries Committee.
Wayne Christian has as a strong record of fighting for the Texas energy industry at the State Capital. He is uniquely qualified to help lead the Texas Railroad Commission to preserve and promote energy production in Texas.
